The was the the first in the new season of RONC FC with a panel discussion regarding Louis Malle's semi-autobiographical masterpiece about childhood, "Au Revoir Les Enfants." In this thought provoking movie, there are striking mental health themes of loss, separation, trauma, and resilience; seen through the experiences of two 12 year old boys in a french boarding school in WW2. Thank you to Dr Robin Basu, Dr Olivia Fiertag, Professor Ginette Vincendeau, Martin Winstone for a great discussion, to Stephen Baker for his thoughtful insights and to Andrea Cunningham from V&A Museum of Childhood for hosting us!
